Halo fun

So I was intending on having some friends over for a halo land party this upcoming saturday. One xbox here already and a friend is able to bring another. I have plenty of tvs to go around. Drieton has one to to make it three if we wanted to.

Yesterday all minus one friend was over and all the girls were out of town. We ended up playing halo2. One went back across town to go get his xbox so that we could link and had the land party yesterday. It was a blast. Too bad Drieton's controller was designed and program for a different game, thus he was handicapped (three buttons were double buttons. couldnt do what he wanted when he wanted) and my other teammate was the worst one of the bunch. The other two, Koorlic and a friend, whooped our butts for a while till Drieton figured out what to do. I was pulling the weight primarily. Fun, but tough fun.

A couple left and we merged onto one xbox to play halo1. There was no accounts set up so we all played as default. They were fine. I wasnt. I am used to playing halo2 on the sensitivity of 6 or 7 (depends on the game) and I was unable to turn up the setting on halo1 on default. Sucked. I felt sooooo slow.

Well, thats my excuse for not posting much at all yesterday. I played a good 5 or 6 hours of halo with friends. It was worth it.

Yes as far as multiplayer shooters go i have to give halo its props. It gets alot of crap from people like me due to its popularity but in all honesty it is executed impeccably.

Yeah Halo multiplayer is done very well and is a lot of fun, but I still say it has one of the most "meh" single player campaigns out there. As for your excuse for not posting a lot yesterday, I will most definitely accept it as I have experienced a halo party before, and my god if you don't notice the time flying.

Halo is a decent shooter game for multiplayer. It is fun trying to burn people with the rocket launcher when it is applicable. I just hate the banshee users who depend on them. Maps without them are the best.

Banshee dependent people are the easiest. Lock on with the rocket launcher and they are dead. A good sticky will take them down. Four or five shots from the sniper will also take them down. there is only a couple of maps that has them and they all have the rocket launches. ME and my friends only use it for transportation or when goofing off for it is doom to stay in one for more than 10 seconds.

Halo as a multiplayer is a blast. As for campaign, I play on nothing less than heroic. Play on legendary sometime. Its tough.
