Okay so while visibly the site (FOR NOW) will stay with the same layout i ahve been informed that every line of code is garbage! By the time i am done with everything(give me until the end of Christmas break, or much later) the world will be a better place.

Im am still recoding the first page of the site, with some slight errors, if you want to see the difference i n source, right vs wrong, check them out, comapre the normal homepage of the website to www.lowestexistance.com/test.html

How is it bad? Its the test that looks bad to me. Everything has stayed the same, no bugs or anything.

Well i mena the only thing wrong with the test so far is that i cannot get the buttons on the right to align properly, the rest(with the exceotion of a fnt change(SHOULD) look the same to you. But the coding is different, it willa llow for faster load times and easier updates.

In the test site, there is a <body> tag inside the <head> tag and there are two </head> tags. Just though I should mention this. Also, how wide is the site, not counting the background?

The site is 744 pixels wide and the background tiles to cover the whole background. I cant believe i missed the body tags, they aren't needed at all as body is inherent in html and those elements are defined in my css document.

Also you should get the web developer toolkit for Firefox as it lets you even look at the css for a web site.

just search for that add on on mozilla. its extremely useful. also i havent downloaded it myself yet, but if you are designing for web, web devil is another great too(it is not a mozilla add on)
