Chicken

So I'm not fond of chicken.
When I lived with my parents my dad would cook it a lot and through that I've grown tired of it.

So what do I get for my birthday? A chicken cookbook. >.<

And tomorrow night I get to cook something out of that book. Huzzah.

Yes! I can understand too much of any chicken, but I eat buffalo wings until i'm sick. The only plus side to chicken in general is its rather cheap, considering beef can be quite expensive for even decent quality.

Chicken is the most versatile of all the meats, and that makes it awesome. This is not to say it is the tastiest of the meats, that is reserved for bacon and good steaks, but it can have so many tastes its fantastic. To make a point of this, when playing harvest moon back to nature, I was able to name all 10 of my chickens after different foods that have chicken in it (Alfredo, Parmesan, Nuggets, etc).

Chicken is so insanely cheap for the bad cuts, and the bad cuts taste pretty much the same as the good ones! At the same time, there are an infinite number of sauces for chicken and its great for yakisoba and stirfry on a level that beef cannot compete with. However, I like hamburgers more than chicken burgers.

I'd rather eat vegetables than chicken.

But alas tonight I get to cook a chicken/spinach/feta dish.

Chicken is better than vegies, even though there is no need to separate them, as chicken can even get better with certain vegetables. It is certainly the best meat there is, except when left over then it gets that nasty taste to it.

BLASPHEMY! Chicken is far from the best meat ever! That totally has to go to good steak with bacon as the second best. Chicken is just the meat you can do the most with.

This is what I made. It's called Spanakopita. Traditional Greek dish.
