Day 1
It appears the tonsor have found a home by the gate of the castle, finding a sufficient amount of food they all eat well, minus the runt of the pact who is forced to the side by the others. They occasionally look up and see me, but do not venture near me.
Day 2
The tonsor are back before dawn, arriving much before I even arrived. It appears that the food supply is still high in the location, which is surprising considering their appetites. The weakest tonsor is still be pushed away from the food, only being able to grab a little bit before being driven away by the superior ones.
Day3
Arriving before the sun rises I quickly have to watch from some bushes as a man comes out. He places what appears to be crumbs on the ground by wear they were eating. The weak one of the group soon makes his way over to the guy. Rubbing his head against the guy he appears to befriend the man. Quickly the man pulls out a knife and butchers the new friend before it new what was happening. The others see that and run away quickly about 5 yards back. They wait till he leaves before going back to eating. After about two hours they act as if nothing happened.
Day 4
Arriving at the same time as before the man is once again there putting crumbs out. The tonsor, now more weary make their way over and start eating. Every step closer he makes they back off. No luck today for him. When he leaves they go back to eating. The very simple lives of the tonsor leave much to be desired.
Day 5
The man is back, this time he stays later and it can be seen that he is some type of cook (explains a lot). The tonsor seem to have forgot what he did just a few days ago except once again they refuse to go onto the bridge. They must fear that going on the bridge means being likely to be killed. Still the food is good, so they insist on eating there. There are some new young that get fed well, and now there is a new weak link in the group. It seems like a harsh life now, more so than they were showing in the past days. The young occasionally go close to the water but are pulled back by seemingly their mothers before they go in. Interestingly enough, the same response occurs when the young go too close to the bridge.

With this I have come to the conclusion that due to the mysterious cook the tonsor have found a home, but are terrified to come in the capital. What will happen to them when the creatures that pray on them find them is beyond me, but it will not be good.
