I bought my ticket the other day to fly to Colorado. And I was pleasantly surprised what I paid for a round trip from the bay area to Colorado. $350.
So I leave on the 13th of December. I'm psyched.
Although I am dreading the whole airport crap.

| Airports are terrifying. I hate their confusion and my constant fear of loosing my luggage. That aside why are you traveling? for turkey day? |

I don't have a problem with airports at all. It's just a hassle with all the new security and whatnot.
I'm going to Colorado to visit my family for my birthday and Christmas. _________________ "Art is science made clear." -Jean Cocteau |

Lol with as long as I've been flying, I'm just used to it, even security is okay when people just do what they're supposed to. I always hate it though when you get the people that don't travel often in front of you, because then they always stand there going "uhhhh what do i do now?".. drives me crazy >.< _________________

I have never flown before, so I think I would be one of those that you would not like Constantine. I do realize I need to take off anything metal and be ready to have sneaker's checked. I would be afraid to lose my luggage though. I hope the trip goes well. _________________

You have to take OFF your shoes. Take your laptop out of your bag so it doesn't go through the c-ray contraption. Etc. Etc.
Blah blah blah. I've been flying since I've been 2. So no biggy but it'll be the holiday season and that means CROWDED. And me+big crowd=panic attack. _________________ "Art is science made clear." -Jean Cocteau |

Thanks for mentioning the laptop thing. I'm traveling for christmas as well, but right out of worcester, so the lines should not be bad at all.
My cousin is a big time commuter-flier and he too has the problem of the absent-mindedness of people in the security lines. He takes his shoes off and stuff so he just passes right through. Some people just can't get it after a few flights...
Also, I hope you're not flying American Airlines. My same cousin flew them up and down the coast. Both ways one trip, all of his AA flights were delayed and nearly made him miss each next one. They seem to have a problem in getting their ground crews ready on time. |

No, I'm not flying with them. Yea, some people don't catch on.
Yea, don't forget the laptop thing. They'll make you do the whole thing over and over til' you take it out. XD _________________ "Art is science made clear." -Jean Cocteau |

It does not seem very hard, I think I would get it within one try or so. I really think people need to start using at least a half of a quarter of a tenth of their brain. It must get really annoying to be behind someone who refuses to take off their shoes. _________________

Koku, that half a quarter of a tenth thing XD it made me stare at the screen, going "wha?" with a puzzled look on my face before I finally got it.... lol mornings are evil evil things....
I have to say regarding security lines, the best I ever went through was when my family and I were returning from some trip, and the security line in front of us was probably going to take maybe and hour and a half just because there were so many people, and my mom and I are groaning, but then my dad points out that he has premier status because of how much he travels, so we got to pretty much cut in front of all these people and we didn't have to wait at all XD
It was amazing, I always miss that when i travel now XD. But yea, with security checks, if I can see that someone up ahead isn't going to know what to do, I just try to get into another line and really have my stuff ready to go so I can try to speed things along. _________________

You and your parents. >.< I wish I could do that.
I'm leaving early so I'll beat some of the heavy flow at the airport. I'll deal with it somehow. I'll be too excited to see Mama and Papa to probably even care. I only have one stop to make anyways. _________________ "Art is science made clear." -Jean Cocteau |
